Based in Abu Dhabi, Sarah Almehairi explores materiality, memory and language through a multidisciplinary practice rooted in abstract and geometric forms. She earned her BA in Art and Art History from New York University Abu Dhabi and is recognised as part of a new generation of Emirati contemporary artists contributing to the region’s evolving cultural landscape.
Her involvement with Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) has included participation in initiatives supporting emerging Emirati artists and international cultural exchange. In 2022, she was featured in Perceptible Rhythms / Alternative Temporalities, presented in partnership with the Middle East Institute, and participated in Portrait of a Nation II: Beyond Narratives at Manarat Al Saadiyat.
