Noura AlSerkal

Interdisciplinary artist and jeweller

Working across jewellery, sculpture and installation, AlSerkal explores the relationship between the known and the unknown through archival research, genealogy and re-engineered narratives. She holds an MA in Jewellery & Metal from the Royal College of Art and is the founder of TURABI, a design studio exploring identity and craftsmanship.

Her work has been exhibited internationally through platforms including Abu Dhabi Art, Tashkeel, Sikka Art Fair and Dubai Design Week. Her notable works include The Magic of Scent, an award-winning jewellery collection exploring memory and fragrance, alongside projects such as Magic Carpet 2.0, Anatomy of a Carpet and Dkhoon Necklace, which reinterpret cultural symbols through contemporary design.

Al Serkal won the ADMAF Design Fund Award 2023, presented in partnership with L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts supported by Van Cleef & Arpels. The award provided funding, mentorship and international training opportunities, and marked a key milestone in her career.

“I won that fellowship and ADMAF have supported me since then.”
