Known for pioneering Japanese-style manga and anime-inspired art in the UAE, Al Remeithi is the founder of Asami ART, producing original characters, merchandise and commissioned artwork while building a strong presence within the UAE’s creative and youth culture scene. Her work blends global anime influences with local identity, while also engaging younger audiences through workshops and creative expression.
Al Remeithi first gained recognition after winning the Abu Dhabi Comic Award in 2016, presented by Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) for her manga Turning Point. She has since participated in several ADMAF initiatives, including the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2018, Festival in the Park 2025, and ADMAF’s Art @ Embassies programme at Expo 2025 Osaka.
