Known for blending traditional Emirati heritage with contemporary fashion, Azza Rashed Al Suwaidi draws on cultural elements including textiles, geometry and nature, reinterpreting them through a modern aesthetic that reflects identity, resilience and evolving narratives within Emirati fashion.
Her award-winning Flourish abaya, inspired by bougainvillea and symbolising resilience and growth, won the Dolce&Gabbana x ADMAF Design Award 2024. As part of the award, she completed a six-month internship at Dolce&Gabbana in Milan, with her work presented at Abu Dhabi Festival 2025.
Her winning work was showcased at Abu Dhabi Festival 2025, marking a significant milestone in her career. As part of a new generation of Emirati designers, Al Suwaidi contributes to redefining local fashion through culturally rooted yet globally relevant design narratives.
