Part of the first graduating cohort to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Textile Design in the UAE from the University of Sharjah, Maitha Alansaari's work translates heritage into contemporary luxury with a refined editorial sensibility. Her design language explores the dialogue between tradition and modernity through bold surface design, layered composition and meticulous craftsmanship, positioning fashion as both identity and expression. In 2025, she won the Dolce&Gabbana x ADMAF Design Award for her design A Journey Woven in Fragments.
Alansaari is also a strategic community builder. She co-founded House of 45, Sharjah’s first concept store, nurturing emerging designers through curated retail and intentional programming. She is also the founder of Locallure, creating cross-cultural experiences, embassy collaborations and meaningful corporate gifting that bridge the UAE with global communities. As a board member of the Sharjah Business Women Council, she actively supports women-led enterprises.
