
Focusing on heritage-inspired design, Badria Salim blends traditional Emirati symbolism with contemporary craftsmanship and luxury materials. A graduate of the University of Sharjah, she has also trained with international gemological institutions, strengthening her technical expertise in jewellery design. Her piece Al iqd Al Bahir (The Brilliant Necklace), inspired by UAE heritage, won the ADMAF Design Fund Award 2023, presented in partnership with L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts supported by Van Cleef & Arpels.
Presented at the ADMAF Awards Ceremony in 2024, the award recognised Salim’s excellence in craftsmanship and formed part of ADMAF’s talent development programme supporting emerging jewellery designers. As part of the initiative, she received an AED 50,000 grant and participated in international training in Paris through L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts.
